Prime Time bell peppers are field grown in the US from May through November, beginning in the Coachella Valley. In early summer, production transitions to Bakersfield, and eventually peaks in Oxnard mid-summer through late fall. During the winter and early spring months, Prime Time bell peppers are grown and packed in carefully selected field and hot house locations throughout Mainland and Baja Mexico, and shipped from Prime Time facilities in Nogales, Arizona and San Diego, California.

Colored bell peppers have many health benefits and are loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Flavor varies slightly by color as red peppers are sweet, yellow and orange peppers are fairly mild and green peppers tend to be more savory. Delicious roasted, sautéed, grilled and stuffed, or simply sliced and eaten with your dip of choice, peppers have a multitude of culinary uses.

Prime Time peppers are packed in 5 lb, 11 lb, 15 lb, 25 lb, and RPC cartons, as well as a variety of bags and bins.

Red Bell Peppers

As the flagship item for Prime Time, red bell peppers are available all year long! Red peppers are both field grown and cultivated in controlled environment houses.

Yellow Bell Peppers

As another staple in the product lineup, Prime Time yellow bell peppers are readily available for shipping with red peppers 365 days a year. Yellow peppers are both field grown and cultivated in controlled environment houses.

Green Bell Peppers

Traditional green bell peppers are harvested in the early part of the growing season, but Prime Time green bell peppers are available all year long!

Orange Peppers

Because they are extremely delicate by nature, orange peppers are primarily grown in controlled environment houses. While orange peppers are not available all year round, they offer a beautiful pop of orange color to any produce display for over half of the year.

In 2017, Prime Time entered into the asparagus category, partnering with a reputable asparagus grower in Caborca, Mexico. Both conventional and organic Prime Time asparagus is 100% food safety and social accountability compliant, utilizing third party auditing and certification.
